This lovely 140+ years old Sterling silver mans pocket watch case is most likely completely handmade.
The back of the watch is beautifully hand engraved with a lovely Spirograph patterned motif with leaf accents and a shield, perfect for monogramming.
A highly detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass dragonfly is captured inside the case, along with various antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a large faceted oval-shaped 2.0+ carat brilliant genuine red Garnet gemstone.
The case itself is in great condition for its age, with only a few minor dings/blemishes here and there and is typical for a watch case that is over 140+ years old.
The pocket watch case suspends from a bail that I fashioned from antiqued silver filigree.
A lovely soldered mesh link chain made of solid Sterling Silver with lobster clasp closure completes the necklace.
The watch case measures: 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 3-inches tall.
The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
