Handmade This whimsical Steampunk necklace features a highly detailed, Sterling Silver over brass owl securely mounted on a antique circa 1890, handmade Swiss key wind pocket watch movement.

The watch mechanism is a stunning, example of a finely handmade timepiece. Exquisitely designed, with ornately cut wheel plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels, exposed gold brass gears and highly polished steel wheels and accents, all which are beautifully encompassed by the antiqued silver Victorian inspired owl.

A lovely, original warm patina finish graces the face and back of this fabulous pocket watch.

A 22-inch long, antiqued silver (Gunmetal) soldered ornate, oval and figure eight link chain with lobster clasp completes piece.

The necklace measures: 22-inch long.

The pendant measures just under: 1-7/8 inches tall by 1-5/8 inch wide.

This incredibly fascinating piece is made from a antique circa 1870 Victorian Sterling silver Swiss made key wind pocket watch case, with original beveled glass crystal.

This lovely 140+ year old Sterling silver pocket watch case was completely handmade. The back cover of the case has been exquisitely engraved with a leaf and infinity knot scroll motif. The back of the case also features a shield that is perfect for monogramming!

The pocket watch case is embellished with a highly detailed antiqued brass dragonfly charm. Also within the case is a faceted 3.0 carat emerald-cut Cubic Zirconia gemstone and a variety of vintage circa (1870 to 1950) watch cogs, gears and wheels made of brass and steel.

The case itself is in great condition for its age, it has a few minor dings here and there, which just adds to its old world charm. The hand engraving is intact and in good condition, which is rare for a precious metal watch case that is over 140+ years old.

The pocket watch case suspends from a Victorian styled bail I've fashioned from a piece of sterling silver over brass filigree.

A soldered antiqued silver rope chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-7/8 inches in diameter and the watch case & pendant bail is 3-1/4 inches tall.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.

You will absolutely love this is exquisite handmade one of a kind Couture Steampunk necklace!

Featured is an antique circa 1900 American made Elgin pocket watch movement that is exceptionally guilloche engraved.

The timepiece is set upon an ornate and rare circa Vintage 1940 French made flower and leaf motif filigree mounting, made of antiqued brass.

The pocket watch mechanism itself is fabulous and is completely hand engraved in a stunning floral and scroll motif. The timepiece also displays ornately designed gear plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels set in raised rose gold jewel mounts, exposed brass gears and highly polished silver steel wheels and accents.

I've embellished this exquisite watch mechanism with the two items listed below:

1. A Art Deco inspired brass dragonfly which is adorned with two steel antique pocket watch gears set with faceted Swarovski crystal stones.

2. A antique steel watch gear set with a fiery created Opal Gemstone.

I've hand wire wrapped a genuine 6.0+ carat Pink Mystic Topaz faceted teardrop briolette, which is capped in filigree. The Topaz drop hangs delicately from the bottom of the filigree pendant.

Two hand wire wrapped genuine pearls attach the focal pendant to a soldered antiqued brass rope chain with lobster clasp, completing this amazing wearable art statement piece.

The necklace measures: 24-inches long.

The pendant measures: 3-1/4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches wide.
