Get yourself noticed with this exceptional, one of a kind handmade, couture Steampunk Statement necklace!

Incredibly unique, the mixture of themes; Nature, Victorian, Steampunk, with a bit of Glamor, are the perfect compliments to this stunning piece of wearable art.

There are so many features and details to discover with this necklace. All of the vintage antique elements that I listed below, range in age from circa 1860 to 1940. It took much time to find each individual unique item, to configure the design and then to take it from raw materials, adding each detail and painstakingly creating each component into this amazing necklace. All I can tell you is that it was such a labor of love and I think that, is well represented in the finished piece.

List of antiquities, jewels and treasures used in the making of this Couture Statement necklace:

Two antique Swiss made pocket watches set on intricately patterned, Sterling silver over brass Victorian styled, filigree mountings.

The larger floral motif filigree features a exquisite antique circa 1890 mens Swiss made handmade, pocket watch movement, with brilliant genuine ruby jewels set in solid gold jewel settings, exposed gold gears and highly polished steel plates. The watch mechanism is adorned with a antiqued silver, highly detailed dragonfly, that I hand set with two vintage steel watch gears, red Swarovski crystal faceted stones. A cabochon 2.0+ carat genuine Garnet I hand set in a filigree prong mounting and is securely fastened to one of the timepiece winding gears. A highly detailed antiqued silver tulip with hand wire wrapped genuine pearl and Swarovski crystal stamen drops, complete this one component of the necklace.

The smaller lacy filigree is set with a stunning, pinstriped hand engraved men Swiss made hand finished pocket watch movement circa 1900 as well. I've added a smaller floral motif Victorian inspired dragonfly in antiqued silver, set with two vintage watch gears and red Swarovski crystal faceted stones, along with a antiqued steel watch gear set with a larger faceted red Swarovski crystal stone.

The smaller gear has seven lovely drops hanging from the bottom of the gear, they are:

1. Victorian inspired antiqued gold scroll motif bezel set with a antique ladies Swiss made gold gilded wristwatch movement circa 1940, embellished with a vintage gear and Swarovski crystal stone.

2. A fabulous, Silver antique circa 1860 handmade fusee pocket watch balance bridge, exquisitely hand engraved and set with its original genuine ruby jewel. I've also added a Swarovski crystal faceted stone at the bottom of the bridge.

3. Stunning, faceted smokey quartz celestial crystal drop capped in antiqued silver filigree.

4. Antique circa 1940 glass vial/bottle that I've filled with various vintage watch parts and capped in antiqued silver filigree and black crystal.

5. Genuine antique circa 1900, Victorian skeleton key.

6. Antiqued silver compass charm with a antiqued silver floral motif rhinestone accent set within its center.

7. Faceted vintage black jet crystal drop capped in antiqued silver filigree.

Making up the center of this elegant necklace is:

I hand wire wrapped, three faceted vintage jet black crystal beads that intermingle with two antiqued silver flower charms and a hand hammered antiqued silver (Gunmetal) over copper circle link chain.

Both strands drape beautifully, as they connect from watch to watch. The remainder of the piece, is made up of double strands of antiqued silver (Gunmetal) rolo chain with hand wire wrapped, silver filigree capped vintage black crystal beads, in various shapes, sizes, A sterling silver over brass flying swallow bird charm and leaf charm finish the piece.

A large antiqued silver lobster clasp with chain 4-inch extension and black faceted Swarovski crystal briolette drop completes this gorgeous necklace.

The necklace measures: 24-inches long at its shortest or use the chain extension to lengthen it up to 28-inches if desired.

This is a truly, one of a kind jewelry art necklace and something that will be surely treasured for generations.
