"Time in a bottle" is the perfect piece of wearable Steampunk art! This unique, handmade one of a kind keepsake necklace features, an unusual large vintage glass bottle circa 1940, filled with various antique, circa 1890 to 1940, watch parts, cogs, gears, wheels and a vintage inspired, antiqued gold skeleton key charm.

I absolutely love this watchmaker antique glass bottle and almost kept this piece for myself, for it is the only one I have. The finished piece is stunning and will be the perfect accessory for that special outfit.

I've embellished the vial with two layers of hand formed to fit, floral motif filigree pieces and various antiqued brass filigree caps, finished by a faceted black Swarovski crystal bead, all which have been added to the top of the screw on lid.

The bottle is attached to an ornate antiqued brass toggle clasp, making for a decorative and practical way to easily wear the necklace.

An 18-inch long, antiqued brass round beaded oval link chain, completes the necklace.

The glass bottle/vial pendant measures: 2-1/4 inches tall and 7/8-inches in diameter.

The perfect piece of wearable Steampunk art! This handmade one of a kind, necklace features a exquisitely engraved antique circa 1900, 7 genuine ruby jewel American made, pocket watch movement with ornate gear plates.

This stunning watch movement displays brilliant genuine ruby jewels, exposed gold brass gearing, beautifully pinstriped guilloche engraving, blue steel accents and highly polished steel intricately cut decorative gear plates.

I've adorned the watch with a beautifully detailed antiqued silver filigree butterfly, which I've adorned with two antique watch gears set with blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal faceted stones.

The pocket watch mechanism is embellished further with four various types of vintage watch gears, that I hand picked and set with blue topaz Swarovski crystal stones, completing the pendant.

I absolutely love antique ladies slide chains which were popular in the Victorian and Edwardian periods. They consisted of a very long continuous chain (45" to 48-inches long) with a decorative slide in the middle and a watch swivel on one end to hook into the bow of the watch. the slide could then move up or down the chain to adjust the look and fit of a chain.

I've fashioned my own version of a Victorian watch slide chain to accent this stunning pendant.
The chain I've designed is 48-inches long (Meant to be double up and worn at a 24-inch length), and is made from antiqued silver chain and a beautiful opalescent Swarovski crystal filigree adornment, which I adapted to be the "slide". A sturdy lobster clasp is the "swivel" that allows you to attach the pendant to the chain.

It is a fun, easy and unique way to wear a chain! the chain can also be effortlessly removed from this pendant to be worn with other pieces if you choose to.

The pendant measures: 2-inches tall by 1-3/8 inches in diameter.

This handmade one of a kind, Victorian inspired Steampunk necklace is absolutely exquisite! Featured is an antique circa 1890, Swiss made pocket watch movement, with 15 genuine ruby jewels.

The pocket watch mechanism itself is stunning. This is a beautifully gold gilded hand finished watch, displaying ornately designed gear plates, brilliant ruby jewels, exposed gold gears and highly polished silver steel wheels and accents.

The watch is set on a highly detailed, antiqued sterling silver over brass, floral and leaf motif filigree setting.

I've embellished the movement with a antiqued silver floral motif dragonfly which is securely mounted to the watch by steel screws. The dragonfly I adorned with various vintage steel watch gears set with Swarovski crystal stones and a antique blue sapphire watch winding crown. A black faceted Swarovski crystal teardrop briolette capped in filigree, hangs from the bottom of the pendant.

The asymmetrical design that attaches the pendant to the antiqued silver oval and round link chain are comprised of: Faceted black crystal beads in both round and octagon shapes and a antiqued silver Victorian inspired leaf.

A lobster clasp and 3-inch long chain extension with filigree capped black crystal bead drop completes the necklace.

The pendant measures: 3-inches tall by 2-3/8 inches wide.

The chain length is 18-inches at it shortest length or use the 3-inch extension to wear it up to: 21-inches.

I absolutely love Victorian era jewelry and this piece I've designed is heavily inspired by the late Victorian period. The antiqued gold brass focal pendant, displays a gorgeous leaf and floral motif that compliments the antique wristwatch perfectly.

I've embellished the watch with various hand picked antique gears and cogs and set within them a Swarovski faceted crystal stone and a genuine pearl.

The pendant is finished with a aurora borealis faceted Swarovski crystal beads that attach the pendant to a antiqued brass oval link and gold bead chain with lobster clasp and genuine pearl drop.

The pendant measures: 1-3/4 inches long by just under 1-1/2-inches wide.

The length of the adjustable chain is: 18-inches at its shortest, you can also use the 3-inch extension and wear the piece at its longest length of: 21-inches.

I've embellished the vial cap with a formed to fit floral motif filigree antiqued gold "cap" and two beautifully detailed, antiqued filigree accents, finished by a genuine freshwater pearl, all which have been securely perched on the top of the screw on lid.

The antique glass bottle hangs from an antique 1900 gold brass pocket watch gear, that has been stacked with an additional steel watch winding gear set with a clear Swarovski crystal stone.

Two genuine freshwater pearls attach the gears and bottle to a antiqued patina brass oval link chain, completing the necklace.

The glass bottle/vial pendant measures: 2-inches tall and 7/16-inches in diameter.
