This handmade one of a kind, Victorian inspired Steampunk necklace is absolutely stunning!
This original design features a antique circa 1900, 15 ruby jewel American made Waltham "Royal" pocket watch movement, set on a highly detailed, antiqued gold leaf motif mounting.
This exquisite guilloche engraved pocket watch mechanism was manufactured by the prestigious Waltham Watch Co. Waltham produced some of the finest factory made and hand finished pocket watches to date. They're sought after by watch enthusiasts and serious collectors alike.
This particular movement I chose for it phenomenal engraving, brilliant genuine ruby jewels mounted within polished gold settings, exposed gold brass gears and highly polished plates. there is not one spot on this watch that hasn't been beautifully engraved with a mixture of scrolling and floral motifs.
I've embellished the watch with various hand picked antique gears and cogs and set within them a Swarovski faceted crystal stone and a blue sapphire winding crown circa 1920.
The pendant is finished with a antiqued brass rope chain with lobster clasp and genuine pearl drop. The length of the adjustable chain is: 17-inches at its shortest, you can also use the 4-inch extension and wear the necklace at its longest length of: 21-inches.
The pendant measures: 2-1/8 inches long by just over 2-1/2-inches wide.
