This industrial Steampunk design takes a whimsical twist with the addition of woodland flare.
Featured is an antique hand-finished Swiss made pocket watch movement set upon an ornate, antiqued Victorian inspired flower and leaf motif filigree mounting in Sterling Silver over brass.
The pocket watch itself is fabulous!
The timepiece was approximately made in the late 1880 and is considered high grade/high end and was most likely to have been housed in either a solid gold or Sterling Silver case. The mechanism showcases 15 genuine ruby jewels, ornately designed gold gilded wheel plates and a fascinating pattern of exposed brass gearing.
I've embellished this exquisite watch mechanism with the three items listed below:
1. A art deco inspired Sterling silver over brass butterfly which is adorned with two steel antique pocket watch gears each set with a faceted Swarovski crystal stone.
2. A silver leaf spray with a antiqued brass flower fashioned from brass components is inset with a steel watch gear and a faceted Swarovski crystal stone.
3. A antique steel watch gear set with a faceted Swarovski crystal stone.
The Victorian motif background is also decorated with a antique steel watch winding gear set with a fiery Lab Created Australian White Opal Gemstone.
A lovely hand wire wrapped teardrop Turquoise Gemstone capped in filigree with genuine pearl accent suspends delicately from the bottom of the pendant.
Four genuine pearls and turquoise beads capped in filigree are hand wire wrapped and attach to floral accents.
A double row of antiqued silver french rope chain with lobster clasp completes this amazing wearable art statement piece.
The necklace measures: 22-inches long.
The pendant measures: 4-inches tall by 2-inches at the widest point.
