Made from a 14k yellow gold filled ladies antique circa (1890 – 1900) Victorian pocket watch case with original beveled glass crystal, this stunning art piece features a plethora of unique and fascinating pocket and wristwatch gears, wheels and cogs that date from the 1870 to 1940.
The case is beautifully hand engraved on the front and back covers and the sides of the watch with a gorgeous scroll and flower motif design. You will also find additional etching on the case: A cartouche perfect for monogramming (Found on the back cover) and a fluer de lis that are incorporated into the pattern. The pictures just don't do it justice!
A highly detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass floral heart has been captured inside along with various hand picked antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, a faceted blue sapphire Swarovski Crystal stone.
The pocket watch case is in terrific condition for its age (120+ year old ), with almost no wear, this piece has seen limited use for how old it is.
A soldered antiqued brass beaded link chain with secure lobster clasp completes the necklace.
The watch case measures: 1-1/4 inches in diameter.
The pendant bail & watch case measure: 2-1/4 inches tall.
