This handmade one of a kind Steampunk necklace features a 7 ruby jewel antique circa 1880, Swiss made hand finished gold gilded pocket watch movement.

I love that this fascinating timepiece is signed by the original watchmaker!

The pocket watch is stunning, displaying ornately designed gold gilded gear plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels, great exposed gearing and high polished steel wheels and accents.

The watch is embellished with a detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass Victorian inspired dragonfly which is secured to the watch by steel screws.

I've adorned the dragonfly with two antique steel watch gears set with faceted Amethyst Swarovski crystal stones.

The timepiece is also decorated with a antique steel watch gear set with a faceted Amethyst Swarovski crystal stone.

The pendant is securely bailed.

A antiqued brass oval link chain with lobster clasp, completes the necklace.

The length of necklace is: 24-inches.

The pocket watch measures: 1-3/4 inches in diameter by 2-1/4 inches tall.

Antique Victorian 1880 Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Vermeil Pocket Watch Case Locket Necklace with Sparrow Bird Charm and Purple Amethyst, Steampunk Jewelry.

A truly phenomenal piece of statement jewelry.

You will fall in love with this gorgeous one of a kind keepsake locket necklace!

This incredibly fascinating piece is made from an antique circa 1880 Victorian Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Vermeil Swiss made pocket watch case, with original beveled glass crystal.

Repurposing this stunning 130+ year old handmade engraved case was an absolute joy.

The front and back cover bezels are beautifully adorned in Rose Gold Vermeil.

The back of the watch is beautifully hand engraved with a lovely leaf motif and french moire pattern surrounding a shield, perfect for monogramming.

The pocket watch case is embellished with a highly detailed antiqued Sterling Silver over brass bird charm. Also within the case is a 5.0+ carat faceted oval cut Purple Amethyst Swarovski crystal stone and a variety of vintage circa (1870 to 1950) watch cogs, gears and wheels made of brass and steel.

The case itself is in fantastic condition for its age, it has a few minor blemishes and some dings and dents here and there, which just adds to its old world charm. The hand engraving is intact and in great condition, which is rare for a precious metal watch case that is over 130+ years old.

The pocket watch case suspends from a Victorian styled bail, that I’ve fashioned from a piece of sterling silver over brass filigree.

A soldered antiqued silver rope chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-7/8 inches in diameter and the watch case & pendant bail is 3-1/4 inches tall.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.

I've embellished the locket with a Sterling silver over brass Victorian inspired filigree bezel setting. The watch is securely nestled on the adornment, in the center of the locket.

The locket is hangs from a antiqued silver dragonfly bail which attaches the pendant to a soldered beaded link chain with lobster clasp.
