Steampunk Necklace vintage glass vial watch parts gears key pearl silver filigree copper bottle pendant design

This handmade keepsake necklace, "Time in a bottle", features a vintage glass bottle, circa 1950 originally used for storing watch parts. I've filled the vial with various antique, circa 1920 to 1940, watch parts, cogs, gears, wheels and a vintage inspired, antiqued silver skeleton key.

I've adorned the vial with a formed to fit beautifully detailed, antiqued silver filigree cap, accented by copper beads, more filigree and a genuine freshwater pearl.

The bottle has been attached to an ornate antiqued copper toggle clasp. making for a decorative and practical way to easily wear the necklace.

An antiqued copper oval link chain, completes the necklace. The glass bottle/vial pendant measures: 2-1/4 inches tall and just under 1/2-inches in diameter.

This gorgeous handmade one of a kind keepsake necklace features a lovely antique, 14k yellow gold filled, hand engraved Art Deco wristwatch case, circa 1930, that serves as the bezel for a ladies antique circa 1900, Elgin watch Co., guilloche pocket watch movement.

The antique, 110+ year old Elgin pocket watch, is stunning and decorated with an ornate guilloche engraving, gold brass wheels and satin brushed silver steel winding gears. I've adorned the movement and case with a highly detailed antiqued silver dragonfly, embellished with a vintage watch gear set with a genuine ruby. Two antiqued gold flowers set with Swarovski crystal faceted stones and a silver leaf have been set onto the rim of the case, adding to the overall industrial Steampunk meets nature design.

A pear shaped faceted genuine red garnet, approx 2.0 carats, has been set with antiqued gold filigree and securely placed within the watch. A highly detailed, diamond and milgrain hand engraved pattern, runs along both sides of the watch case. The pictures don't do this piece justice…so much more gorgeous in person!

Three beautifully faceted, garnet red, cubic zirconia pear-shaped drops are capped in filigree and dangle from the bottom of the case. An adjustable, antiqued gold oval and round link chain with lobster clasp and heart-shape garnet red faceted cubic zirconia drop capped in filigree completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-3/8 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches long.

The chain is adjustable and can be worn at it shortest length of: 17-inches, or use the 3-inch extension to make it 20-inches long.

The perfect piece of wearable steampunk art, this handmade one of a kind, necklace features a rare antique circa 1880, gold, 7 ruby jewel, guilloche engraved, Swiss made pocket watch movement.

I've adorned the watch with a beautifully detailed gold brass, Victorian inspired butterfly, embellished with an antique watch winding gear and blue faceted Swarovski crystal. The butterfly has been securely screwed down onto this gorgeous watch movement.

I've added several antique gears in both gold and silver, which have been set with aquamarine blue Swarovski crystal faceted stones and placed on the watch. The contrasts of the glimmering gold and antique silver displayed by this watch is stunning!

The pendant hangs from an ornate antiqued gold toggle clasp attached to an oval link, beaded chain, making for a decorative and practical way to easily wear the necklace. The pocket watch movement measures: 1-3/8 inches in diameter and the pendant measures: 1-5/8 inches long.

Handmade "Time in a bottle" is the perfect piece of wearable Steampunk art!

This lovely and unique keepsake necklace features a antiqued silver leaf motif capped glass bottle.

The bottle is filled with various antique circa 1890 to 1940, steel and brass watch parts, cogs, gears, wheels.

I've embellished the vial with two antiqued silver filigree caps and a faceted black Swarovski crystal bead and crystal briolette drop.

Each of these adornments are hand wire wrapped to the bottle caps.

A soldered gunmetal oval link chain with lobster clasp closure completes the necklace.

The glass bottle/vial pendant measures: 2-1/2 inches tall and just under 1/2-inch wide.

The length of necklace is available from 16-inches to 30-inches long.
