Made from a antique circa 1880 Victorian, Sterling silver ladies demi-hunter pocket watch cas with original beveled glass crystal..
This lovely 130+ years old Sterling silver pocket watch case is most likely completely handmade. One of the most unique cases I've come across, the back cover has a exquisite rose gold and yellow gold inlay floral leaf motif pattern. The sides of the case are also ornately embossed with a leaf and scroll motif design.
A highly detailed rose gold copper dragonfly is captured inside the case, along with various antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and two faceted oval-cut 1.0 carat brilliant genuine Amethyst gemstones.
The case itself is in great condition for its age, with some dings and blemishes here and there, which is typical for a watch case that is over 130+ years old and just adds to the old world charm.
The case is adorned with a genuine pearl capped in silver filigree which I've suspended from the bottom of the case.
The pocket watch case suspends from a antiqued silver bail that I've fashioned from a piece of filigree.
A soldered antiqued silver oval link beaded chain with lobster clasp closure, completing the necklace.
The watch case measures: 1-3/8 inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches tall.
The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
