Featured is an antique circa 1900 American made Elgin pocket watch movement that is exceptionally guilloche engraved.
The timepiece is set upon an ornate and rare circa Vintage 1940 French made flower and leaf motif filigree mounting, made of antiqued brass.
The pocket watch mechanism itself is fabulous and is completely hand engraved in a stunning floral and scroll motif. The timepiece also displays ornately designed gear plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels set in raised rose gold jewel mounts, exposed brass gears and highly polished silver steel wheels and accents.
I've embellished this exquisite watch mechanism with the two items listed below:
1. A Art Deco inspired brass dragonfly which is adorned with two steel antique pocket watch gears set with faceted Swarovski crystal stones.
2. A antique steel watch gear set with a fiery created Opal Gemstone.
I've hand wire wrapped a genuine 6.0+ carat Pink Mystic Topaz faceted teardrop briolette, which is capped in filigree. The Topaz drop hangs delicately from the bottom of the filigree pendant.
Two hand wire wrapped genuine pearls attach the focal pendant to a soldered antiqued brass rope chain with lobster clasp, completing this amazing wearable art statement piece.
The necklace measures: 24-inches long.
The pendant measures: 3-1/4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches wide.
