This handmade one of a kind, Steampunk necklace features an antique circa 1900, guilloche engraved 7 ruby jewel, American made "Molly Stark" pocket watch movement.
The watch movement was produced by the world renowned, Hampden Watch Co. Beautifully designed and hand finished, this mechanism displays genuine ruby jewels set, exposed gold brass gears, highly polished steel accents and decorative silver wheel plates.
The pocket watch movement itself is absolutely exquisite! The mechanism has been ornately guilloche engraved with an exceptionally intricate, scroll motif pattern.
I've embellished the pocket watch mechanism with a antique rose gold wristwatch mainspring gear, which serves as a "bezel" for stunning opalescent dichroic cabochon that displays a wide range of colors, blue, green, gold, orange, purple and silver.
The watch is adorned with an antiqued silver Victorian inspired leaf bail, that has been tightly and securely screwed onto the watch.
Two faceted Swarovski opalescent crystal beads attach the pendant to a antiqued silver oval link chain. A easy to use and secure lobster clasp and 4-inch chain extension with Swarovski crystal drop, complete the necklace.
The pendant measures: 1-5/8 inches tall by 1-1/4 inches in diameter.
The length of the chain is: 18-inches at its shortest, or use the chain extension to wear the piece up to: 22-inches long.
