This is an extraordinary handmade one of a kind Victorian pocket watch necklace.

The exquisitely guilloche enameling makes this the perfect piece of wearable jewelry art!

Made from a antique Rose gold over Sterling Silver (Vermeil) Swiss made pocket watch case that has all its original hallmarks.

The gorgeous turquoise blue guilloche enamel characterizes this timepiece. In this decorative technique fine lines are cut over metal using a specialized tool and then enameled. The pattern or design under the colored translucent enamel layer provides depth to the composition and increases its visual effect.

The best known artist using guilloche enamel was the famous Fabergé whose use of the material elevated enamel to an art form.

Gold foil has been delicately transformed into a stunning floral motif that surrounds a sparrow in flight. Each of these precious metal foil designs have been expertly inset in the enameling and can be found on the back cover.

I've embellished the inside of the pocket watch case with a highly detailed silver sparrow. Also within the case is a faceted 2.0 carat brilliant blue topaz Swarovski crystal stone and a variety of vintage circa (1870 to 1950) watch cogs, gears and wheels made of brass and steel.

The case itself is in excellent condition for its age. The enameling is amazingly intact, with only a few minor blemishes that can be found using a magnifying loupe. Overall what little wear that can be found on the piece is quite uncommon for a watch case that is over 130+ years old.

Enameled pocket watch cases are becoming increasingly rare and are incredibly hard to come by in good shape. I was absolutely thrilled that I was able to recover this watch and repurpose it as a jewelry piece. Typically many of these beautiful watches are fated to be melted down for precious metal value.

This is a keepsake necklace that should be cherished and passed on to loved ones for generations to come!

The pendant is complimented by a matching blue enameled antique circa 1880 Fleur de lis pin and pendant duo.

The pocket watch case pendant suspends from a soldered copper figure 8 link chain with lobster clasp, completing the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-1/8 inches in diameter.

The watch case and pendant bail measure: 2-1/8 inches tall.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
