You'll love this absolutely amazing, one of a kind keepsake Steampunk necklace made from an antique circa 1900 Victorian, 14k white gold filled mans pocket watch case.
This is one of the most beautifully engraved 14k white gold filled mans watch cases I've come across, the pictures just don't do it justice.
A highly detailed antiqued gold brass dragonfly, has been captured inside, along with various hand picked antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a large stunning, checkerboard square-cut faceted 2.0 carat, genuine Rhodalite Garnet gemstone.
The edges of both the front and back covers, neck and bow of the pocket watch case are exquisitely hand engraved with a floral and leaf motif. The case itself is in lovely condition and has a few minor dings here and there, which just adds to the old world charm and is typical for a gold filled watch case that is over 100 years old.
I've fashioned a lovely Victorian styled bail from a piece of filigree and attached it to the watch case.
A sterling silver over copper soldered oval link chain, with lobster clasp completes the necklace.
The watch case measures: 1-5/8 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches long.
The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
