Made from a antique circa 1880 Victorian, Sterling silver Swiss made ladies pocket watch case.
This lovely 130+ years old Sterling silver pocket watch case is most likely completely handmade. One of the most unique cases I've come across, the back cover has a exquisite embossed seen of cherubs surrounding a very small shield, which could be used for monogramming.
A highly detailed brass bumble bee is captured inside the case, along with various antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a large faceted emerald-cut 2.0+ carat brilliant genuine Amethyst gemstone.
The case itself is in great condition for its age, with only a few minor blemishes here and there, which is typical for a watch case that is over 130+ years old and just adds to the old world charm.
The pocket watch case suspends from a antiqued silver bail that I've fashioned from a piece of filigree.
A soldered antiqued silver oval link beaded chain with lobster clasp closure, completing the necklace.
The watch case measures: 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 2-3/8 inches tall.
The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
