Featured is an 17 genuine ruby jewel antique circa 1890, Swiss pocket watch movement set upon an ornate Victorian inspired flower and leaf motif heart mounting.
This is a incredible example of a finely handmade timepiece, displaying ornately cut wheel plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels set in solid rose gold jewel mounts, exposed gold brass gears and steel wheels and accents.
The watch mechanism is absolutely fascinating and still retains it original warm patina.
I've embellished the watch with a steel antique pocket watch gear, set with a created black Opal gemstone.
Various sizes and shapes of vintage faceted black crystal beads are hand wire wrapped and capped in filigree and attach the heart to a antiqued brass chain with lobster clasp.
A 4-inch chain extension with a black crystal bead capped in filigree completes the necklace.
This piece is adjustable and can be worn with many different necklines.
The necklace can be worn at its shortest length of: 18-inches, or use the extension and wear it up to: 22-inches long.
