Steampunk Necklace vintage glass vial watch parts gears key pearl silver filigree copper bottle pendant design

This handmade keepsake necklace, "Time in a bottle", features a vintage glass bottle, circa 1950 originally used for storing watch parts. I've filled the vial with various antique, circa 1920 to 1940, watch parts, cogs, gears, wheels and a vintage inspired, antiqued silver skeleton key.

I've adorned the vial with a formed to fit beautifully detailed, antiqued silver filigree cap, accented by copper beads, more filigree and a genuine freshwater pearl.

The bottle has been attached to an ornate antiqued copper toggle clasp. making for a decorative and practical way to easily wear the necklace.

An antiqued copper oval link chain, completes the necklace. The glass bottle/vial pendant measures: 2-1/4 inches tall and just under 1/2-inches in diameter.

The length of necklace is: 18-inches. If needed the chain can be shorten or lengthened further, just message me for details.

Handmade "Time in a bottle" is the perfect piece of wearable Steampunk art!

This lovely and unique keepsake necklace features a antiqued silver leaf motif capped glass bottle.

The bottle is filled with various antique circa 1890 to 1940, steel and brass watch parts, cogs, gears, wheels.

I've embellished the vial with two antiqued silver filigree caps and a faceted black Swarovski crystal bead and crystal briolette drop.

Each of these adornments are hand wire wrapped to the bottle caps.

A soldered gunmetal oval link chain with lobster clasp closure completes the necklace.

The glass bottle/vial pendant measures: 2-1/2 inches tall and just under 1/2-inch wide.

The length of necklace is available from 16-inches to 30-inches long.

The bottle is embellished with a formed to fit beautifully detailed antiqued copper filigree cap, accented by a copper bead, more filigree and a faceted black Swarovski crystal bead.

All of the decorative pieces are attached to the original cork stopper. The cork is securely fastened, keeping the contents of the bottle safe.

I utilized hypoallergenic (Nickel and lead free) Victorian styled, antiqued sterling silver over copper, french pierced ear wires. You'll find that these earrings are light weight and easy to wear.
