A amazing combination of warm patina brass and cold forged steel marry perfectly in this handmade and one of a kind nature meets industrial Steampunk jewelry art piece!

Featured is an absolutely fabulous, ornately guilloche engraved silver antique circa 1890 American made Waltham pocket watch plate.

This fascinating pocket watch plate was salvaged from a beyond repair 18-size mans timepiece and still carries some of its original genuine ruby jewels.

I've decorated the watch plate with several round faceted blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal stones which are set into the plate itself.

Various types of antique steel watch gears, a highly detailed antiqued gold butterfly, a gold brass rose leaf branch and a flower, I fashioned from antiqued gold brass findings, adorn the plate as well.

The center steel watch winding gears, are set with a beautiful genuine freshwater pearl.

Both flower and butterfly have also been embellished with antique steel watch gears set with blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal stones.

The pendant is finished with a faceted blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal briolette drop with genuine pearl, capped in filigree.

A 24-inch long soldered antiqued brass beaded oval link chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The pendant measures: 2-5/8 inches wide by 3-inches long.

The watch movement itself is exquisite, displaying gold gilded wheel plates, 21 brilliant genuine ruby jewels, exposed gold brass gears and steel cogs.

I've embellished the timepiece with a antique steel pocket watch gear, set with a faceted aquamarine blue Swarovski crystal stone.

A hand wire wrapped genuine pearl and a floral motif dragonfly charm accent the Skeleton key, completing this fabulous piece.

The key pendant hangs from a soldered antiqued brass beaded link chain with lobster clasp.

The chain length is: 24-inches long.

This incredibly fascinating piece is made from a antique circa 1880 Victorian Gunmetal Swiss made pocket watch case, with original beveled glass crystal.

Repurposing this stunning 130+ year old handmade case was an absolute joy.

A highly detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass octopus with Swarovski crystal accent is captured inside the case. Also within the case are various antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a brilliant 2.0+ carat faceted cushion shaped blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal gemstone.

The case itself is in great condition for its age, it has a few blemishes and minor dings here and there, which just adds to its old world charm.

The pocket watch case suspends from a Victorian styled bail I’ve fashioned from a piece of sterling silver over brass filigree.

A soldered Matte Gunmetal beaded link chain, with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-1/4 inches in diameter and the watch case & pendant bail is 2-3/8 inches tall.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.

This incredibly fascinating piece is made from a antique circa 1880 Sterling Silver Swiss made pocket watch case, with original beveled glass crystal.

Rarely do you have the opportunity to own a 130+ year old magnificently handmade piece such as this one and I was thrilled to come across this case.

Repurposing this stunning and exquisitely hand engraved case was an absolute joy.

The back of the watch is beautifully hand engraved with a lovely leaf motif and french moire pattern surrounding a shield, perfect for monogramming.

The pocket watch case is embellished with a highly detailed antiqued Sterling Silver over brass Heart charm. Also within the case is a faceted 2.0 carat oval shaped blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal stone and a variety of vintage circa (1870 to 1950) watch cogs, gears and wheels made of brass and steel.

The case itself is in good condition for its age, it has a few blemishes, dings and dents here and there, which just adds to its old world charm. The hand engraving is intact and in great condition, which is uncommon for a precious metal watch case that is over 130+ years old.

Sterling Silver pocket watch cases are becoming increasingly rare and are incredibly hard to come by in good shape. Typically many of these beautiful watches are fated to be melted down for precious metal value.
