Handmade This stunning handmade one of a kind Steampunk necklace features a antique circa 1920, Swiss made pocket watch movement.

The watch mechanism is absolutely fascinating, displaying ornately cut steel wheel plates, gullioche engraved steel plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels, exposed brass gears and a lovely warm patina.

I've embellished the timepiece with a vintage faceted amethyst purple crystal cabochon. The cabochon is cleverly set within a antique brass pocket watch mainspring barrel gear from the 1920, which serves as a unique bezel for the crystal faceted stone.

The pendant is securely bailed and hangs from a antiqued silver soldered oval link chain with lobster clasp.

The necklace/chain measures: 20-inches long.

The pendant measures: 2-inches tall and the diameter of the watch is: 1-1/2 inches.

This handmade one of a kind, Steampunk necklace features a 15 genuine ruby jewel antique circa 1892, "Elgin" pocket watch movement.

This stunning vintage American made watch movement was produced by the prestigious Elgin watch Co. Elgin is known for some of the most beautiful hand finished, high grade and collectible watches in the world.

The pocket watch itself is absolutely gorgeous, the incredibly ornate floral scroll motif guilloche engraving, is breathtaking!

The combination of engraving, high polished steel plates and gears, exposed brass wheels and brilliant genuine ruby jewels, make for an absolutely exquisite pendant.

The watch is embellished with a detailed antiqued copper Victorian inspired dragonfly which is secured to the watch by steel screws.

I've adorned the dragonfly with two antique steel watch gears set with faceted amethyst Swarovski crystal stones.

The timepiece is also decorated with a antique steel watch gear set with a faceted Swarovski crystal stone.

A soldered antiqued Sterling silver over brass beaded link chain with lobster clasp closure completes the necklace.

The pendant measures: 2-1/2 inches tall by 1- 5/8 inches in diameter.

The length of chain is: 20-inches long.

This lovely 130+ years old Sterling silver pocket watch case is most likely completely handmade. The edges of the front and back bezels are engraved in a leaf motif and were originally rose gold gilded, which still can be seen.

The back of the watch is beautifully hand engraved with a lovely Spirograph patterned motif and shield, perfect for monogramming.

A highly detailed brass butterfly is captured inside the case, along with various antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a large faceted cushion-shaped 1.0+ carat brilliant genuine Amethyst gemstone.

The case itself is in great condition for its age, with only a few minor blemishes here and there, which just adds to the old world charm and is typical for a watch case that is over 130+ years old.

The pocket watch case suspends from a soldered solid Sterling Silver snake chain, with lobster clasp completing the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches tall.

A highly detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass butterfly has been captured inside along with various hand picked antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a stunning, oval-cut faceted 2.0 carat genuine Amethyst gemstone.

The case itself is in wonderful condition and has very few if any blemishes. The engraving is still crisp with detail which is rare for a gold filled watch case that is over 100+ years old.

I've fashioned a lovely bail from a Victorian styled rose gold dragonfly and attached it to the watch case.

A ornate soldered rose gold/copper chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches long.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
