This exquisite antique circa 1890 pocket watch case has been transformed into a whimsical locket full of fascinating treasures!
You’ll absolutely love this amazing handmade and one of a kind keepsake Steampunk necklace made from a Victorian14k yellow gold filled mans pocket watch case with original beveled glass crystal.
The pocket watch case is beautifully engraved with a leaf and floral motif, that can be found on the front bezel, and back cover of the case.
A highly detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass bumble bee has been captured inside along with various hand picked antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a stunning, oval-cut faceted 3.0+ carat created blue aquamarine gemstone.
The case itself is in good condition and does have some slight wear and various dings and blemishes, which is typical for a gold filled watch case that is over 120+ years old.
I’ve fashioned a lovely bail from a Victorian styled brass filigree and attached it to the watch case bow.
A ornate soldered brass chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.
The watch case measures: 2-1/8 inches in diameter and 3-1/2 inches tall.
The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
