This exquisite antique circa 1890 pocket watch case has been transformed into a whimsical locket full of fascinating treasures!

You'll absolutely love this amazing handmade and one of a kind keepsake Steampunk necklace made from a Victorian14k yellow gold filled mans pocket watch case with original beveled glass crystal.

The pocket watch case is beautifully engraved with a pinstriped motif on the back cover and edge/circumference of the case.

A highly detailed antiqued Sterling silver over brass hot air balloon has been captured inside along with various hand picked antique watch gears, wheels, cogs, (Circa 1870 to 1940) and a stunning, cushion-cut faceted 3.0 carat genuine Citrine gemstone.

The case itself is in wonderful condition and has very few if any blemishes. The engraving is still crisp with detail which is rare for a gold filled watch case that is over 120+ years old.

I've fashioned a lovely bail from a Victorian styled brass filigree and attached it to the watch case bow.

A ornate soldered brass chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches long.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
