This handmade one of a kind, Steampunk necklace features a antique circa 1920, 7 ruby jewel, Swiss made pocket watch movement.

The watch mechanism is a stunning example of a finely made timepiece. Exquisitely designed, with ornately cut hand engraved scroll motif wheel plates, brilliant genuine ruby jewels, exposed gold brass gears and highly polished steel wheels.

Adorning the watch is a beautifully detailed brass filigree Monarch butterfly, embellished with a antique steel watch winding gear set with a Swarovski crystal.

I've also embellished the watch with three vintage watch gears one made of brass and two steel. Set with within the trio of cleverly stacked gears is a faceted Swarovski crystal stone.

The butterfly has been securely fastened to this gorgeous watch movement by a steel screw.

The pendant is securely bailed and hangs from a 24-inch, antiqued silver soldered oval link chain with lobster clasp.

The pocket watch movement pendant measures: 1-5/8 inches in diameter by 2-inches tall.

A amazing combination of warm patina brass and cold forged steel marry perfectly in this handmade and one of a kind nature meets industrial Steampunk jewelry art piece!

Featured is an absolutely fabulous, ornately guilloche engraved silver antique circa 1890 American made Waltham pocket watch plate.

This fascinating pocket watch plate was salvaged from a beyond repair 18-size mans timepiece and still carries some of its original genuine ruby jewels.

I've decorated the watch plate with several round faceted blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal stones which are set into the plate itself.

Various types of antique steel watch gears, a highly detailed antiqued gold butterfly, a gold brass rose leaf branch and a flower, I fashioned from antiqued gold brass findings, adorn the plate as well.

The center steel watch winding gears, are set with a beautiful genuine freshwater pearl.

Both flower and butterfly have also been embellished with antique steel watch gears set with blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal stones.

The pendant is finished with a faceted blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal briolette drop with genuine pearl, capped in filigree.

A 24-inch long soldered antiqued brass beaded oval link chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The pendant measures: 2-5/8 inches wide by 3-inches long.

A truly phenomenal piece of statement jewelry.

You will fall in love with this gorgeous one of a kind keepsake locket necklace!

This incredibly fascinating piece is made from a antique circa 1880 Sterling Silver Swiss made pocket watch case, with original beveled glass crystal.

Rarely do you have the opportunity to own a magnificently handmade 130+ year old art piece such as this one. I was so thrilled to come across this case!

Repurposing this stunning and exquisitely hand engraved case was an absolute joy.

The entire case from front to back is expertly engraved with a leaf and floral scroll motif design, it absolutely breathtaking!

I’ve adorned the pocket watch locket with a antique blue sapphire watch winding crown.

The inside of the pocket watch case is embellished with a highly detailed antiqued Sterling Silver over brass butterfly charm. Also within the case is a faceted 2.0 carat oval shaped blue aquamarine Swarovski crystal stone and a variety of vintage circa (1870 to 1950) watch cogs, gears and wheels made of brass and steel.

The case itself is in fantastic condition for its age, it has a few minor blemishes and dings here and there, which just adds to its old world charm. The hand engraving is intact and in excellent condition, which is uncommon for a precious metal watch case that is over 130+ years old.

Sterling Silver pocket watch cases are becoming increasingly rare and are incredibly hard to come by in good shape. Typically many of these beautiful watches are fated to be melted down for precious metal value.

The pocket watch case suspends from a Victorian styled floral bail, that I’ve fashioned from a piece of sterling silver over brass filigree.

A soldered silver rope chain with lobster clasp completes the necklace.

The watch case measures: 1-5/8 inches in diameter and the watch case & pendant bail is 2-3/4 inches tall.

The length of necklace/chain is: 24-inches long.
